Leaking blood from the heart

The mechanics of the soul need nothing from the heart
The mechanics of the heart cannot function with out the soul

Bleeding emotion, raw and unadulterated

the sliver of hope becomes a shard of glass

the flesh is torn and the red life flows out

reaching through the time and space of the universe only to find

the healing powers of love and devotion only are the guise of pain and suffering

Misled
distracted

With purpose unknown the enemies of peace attack
Assaulting the tender vestiges that are barely holding the meat of the heart to the body of the soul
 The aggression against ones dream is devestating

Broken once again the body withers and dies
the heart is empty
the devotion is gone

The more you stop caring about something the easier it is to not care about something

And then the fatal stroke is admisitered

and the beating becomes a quiver
and the heart dies

leaking the last of it's precious red liquid onto the floor

and during it all

they stand and watch

disinterest

dysfunction

detached and disconnected

uncaring
