So I was wondering. When people use social networking sites.... how often do they actually THINK about the words they use. What is the chance that they consider what they say before they say..well not say.. type.. and how it is going to impact others unless they are a little stupid and try and be as hurtful as they can be.
Now think about this.. When you are talking face to face with someone you normal pick your words. Normal conversations will always be a mix of subconsciously chosen and assembled words.
In a conversation between two people over the internet.. you don't see their faces or hear their voices. So you aren't seeing the immediate affect you are having on them. Or on people you aren't directing the message to. So.. how do you know what affect its having that you didn't count on?
So why is it that people wont make sure they choose their comments or words?
Ill tell ya..
It's because they are numbed by the internet. I know I know. It's been said before.
But before you fly off the handle just stop. Disconnect for a little bit and think about it. Go out side and think about it.
