Just doing what I do

Ok so there we were.  At Disney studios with my youngest daughter, her baby my oldest daughters baby and my ex and her fam.
We were in the 3D muppet theater so the little ones (and me but I aint gonna admit it) can watch the show.
Daughter is prego.
It's hot and crowded.
Daughter passes out.
Git that covered.  cool nap on the neck, fanning, wheel chair and get out of the crowd.
Color comes back she is fine and dandy.  Wants to go in.
Just as the show is finishing she has an "episode" and scares the bajeezes out of me.  Wont admit that to any one so shhh.
Ok, taking care of her, helping her relax until she settles and cleaning the vomit.  That's what daddies do right?
At that point it is decided against her protests that she is going to the hospital.  Of course the Ex agrees.  It's her baby girl too!

Not remember.  It's a Disney theme park.  Packed...

Now.

The fun begins!

My target:  The aid station on the other side of the park.

Obsticles:  Stupid people that wont move out of the way, or, don't understand English enough to know that "GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY" means...well...GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!

So there the two of us are.  Preggo daughter in the wheel chair... Worried daddy and soon to be papaw for the third time.

Yeah, I ran some people over getting her to the other side of the park.

She is fine and so is the bun in the oven.

4 Hrs in the hospital under observation.

Both my girls were fine.  Just stress, heat, crowded place and needing some food and Gatorade. (water just wasn't enough!)

I think she was getting aggravated after a while with me checking on her, touching her neck, slapping a cool rag to her neck and forehead and the other thing worried daddies do.

Her mom was more or less doing the same..lol so my baby girl was being worried over like she was a little baby again..lol
Wonder if she could tell she was loved?

OH!!!  And at the hospital!  I got to hear my grand daughters heart beat! (welling tears)

My daughter was such a trooper through it all.  She was worried about her baby boy and asked about him the whole time until my ex brought him to her room when they got there.

She was upset about messing up everyone's fun but of course no one cared about that one bit.  Her only real concern was not herself but her children, born and unborn.  She is such a great mommy.  So proud of her!

I believe she was holding her son tight while she was having her episode.  Only letting go when told to.  Looking out for him even while convulsing and vomiting.  Yeah some will say she was just holding him due to the convulsion BUT!  She ONLY let go when she was told to let go.  So HA!

Mommies are mommies.  Super heros in my book.

But even through all that.  I loved spending time with them.  Getting to play with the babies.  Of course I have to hand some credit to my Ex.  She hooked me up with the ticket to get in so I COULD see em for the week end.  She isn't one of those hateful ex-wives.  Glad that we can talk and have a reasonable relationship for the kids when they were growing up and now having the grand babies.
